Joseph Stiglitz is a renowned economist and Nobel Laureate who is currently a professor of economics at Columbia University. He is also the founder of The Roosevelt Institute and the co-chair of The Commission on Global Economic Transformation. In 2001, he was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics for his contribution to the analysis of markets with asymmetric information.
